The finest private chef we have ever encountered!
One of the finest 5 course dinners my wife and have eaten. The experience of having Steven come into our home and prepare/cook this special meal was heaven. Not only can Steven cook, his presentations are outstanding. And he has a great personality to keep you entertained if you wish. So knowledgeable and a very interesting background. We highly recommend Steven and his private culinary services. You won’t be disappointed.
My husband and I had the pleasure of trying Chef Steve’s delicious cooking when Bridge Mill in Canton hosted his pop-up kitchen. Here is our quick take on Blue Duck Eats… The made-to-order Cedar Plank Salmon BLT is a must-try. You get a generous portion of fresh salmon, large bacon strips, lettuce and tomato. Surprisingly priced at $9, this is truly a great deal. Our side dish, the Poblano and Goat Cheese Potato Salad, gives your taste buds a noteworthy experience from its balanced mix of unusual ingredients. We really loved the Banana Nut Bread Pudding for dessert. Not overpoweringly sweet, this item screams sophistication as the flavors rise gently with each bite, only making you want more. We would highly recommend Blue Duck Eats and are also looking forward to whatever new creations the Chef would offer in the future.
Best experience in a really long time!
Steven was amazing from start to finish. He was very responsive and willing to go above and beyond creating more dishes than were even included in the price. The food was outstanding and he was extremely personable in answering all of our questions. Excellent at multitasking because I don’t think we gave him a break in conversation the whole time he was cooking! For the experience we had, I would have expected the price to be two or three times what we paid. Highly recommend. Already booked him for another dinner in July!!
Cabin retreat - good eats
We invited Chef Steven to our cabin retreat near Smoky Mt NP and gave him free reign to cook whatever he wanted. He had an idea he wanted to try – his shrimp and grits prepared on camp cooking equipment. Let me tell you, the tools do not make the chef! The meal was amazing – he smoked the tomatoes and some peppers for the sauce with just a little heat. The kicker was the house-made croutons – oh, since this was “camping” the croutons were from SPAM. I know, that’s what I thought too…I was all kinds of wrong, they gave texture and crunch and salt and all around yummyness.
For sure will have him cook for us again!
great food and outstanding helpers
